23 Dec PROPER 2025 Award: Proof of PT KHL and PT TMSJ’s Commitment to Sustainable Environmental Management

Congratulations to PT Karangjuang Hijau Lestari (KHL) for achieving a Blue PROPER rating and to PT Tirta Madu Sawit Jaya (TMSJ) for successfully achieving a Green PROPER rating at the 2025 Environmental Awards Ceremony. The event, themed “Active Multi-Stakeholder Collaboration in Achieving Climate-Resilient Environmental Transformation,” was held in Tanjung Selor on December 23, 2025.

PROPER (Company Performance Rating Assessment Program) is an Indonesian government program aimed at assessing and monitoring the performance and compliance of companies in environmental management, as stipulated in Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation Number 01 of 2021.

On this occasion, PT KHL successfully achieved a Blue PROPER rating, while PT TMSJ achieved a Green PROPER rating. The awards were presented directly by the Governor of North Kalimantan to representatives of the company management.

The achievement of the Green and Blue PROPER is proof of PT TMSJ and PT KHL’s commitment to implementing sustainable environmental management, including efforts that exceed the required provisions (beyond compliance), the implementation of an effective environmental management system, efficient use of resources, and optimal implementation of corporate social responsibility.
