Sustainability Policy

FAP Agri Group is an oil palm plantation and processing company headquartered in Jakarta and manages plantations spread across Kalimantan. Our activities include oil palm cultivation, fresh fruit bunch processing, production of palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel oil (CPKO).


Through its sustainabilityle policy, FAP Agri Group and its subsidiaries understand the importance of implementing sustainable development with best operating practices.


This policy applies to all of our current and future operations and subsidiaries, including oil refineries, mills, or third parties that are owned and managed, and have trade relations with the company. The creation of the policies and strategies is in accordance with the following principles.


Every company needs to comply with the law

  • Comply with applicable laws, policies and government regulations.
  • Continuously increase the awareness of all staff and employees regarding compliance with the laws, policies and regulations related to the company’s overall operations.

Forests and their ecosystems support the survival of all living things

  • No new land development until we identified and can effectively protect our High Conservation Value (HCV) and High Carbon Stock (HCS) area within our effective and manageable landbank.
  • Maintain the Zero Burning Policy, including for replanting and actively and periodically prepare and train personnel as forest fighter.

Peatlands play an important role in climate change mitigation and adaptation. Although the amount of peatland is only about 3-5% of the earth’s surface, it is home to more than 30% of the world’s carbon stocks stored in the soil.

  • We not developing new plants on peatlands in accordance with applicable laws and regulations regardless of depth.
  • Implement Best Management practices for plantations on existing peatlands.
