FAP Agri’s Statement Regarding the News

Warm Greetings from FAPA,

As a public company, PT FAP Agri Tbk (FAPA) remains committed to good governance with transparency in accordance with applicable regulations.

In response to recent online investigative reports suggesting that FAPA is a shell company of a corporation and practices irresponsible behavior, we wish to provide some clarifications. FAPA is a publicly traded company managed independently by professional human resources. We believe there is a significant responsibility to adhere to ethical, legal, and good corporate governance aspects to ensure the sustainable and beneficial operation of the company.

To reinforce this commitment, FAPA has implemented a range of industry-aligned practices. All processes related to the management of our plantations adhere to policies such as NDPE (No Deforestation, No Peat, No Exploitation), including High Conservation Value (HCV), High Carbon Stock (HCS), Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC), and Social Impact Assessment (SIA). We continuously enhance the quality of our social relationships with stakeholders through a framework of action that prioritizes collaboration. We also provide a grievance channel on our website for stakeholders to voice their concerns.

Therefore, we firmly reject any reports suggesting that we engage in irresponsible practices, including claims that FAPA has legal, financial, or operational ties with any business group not listed as our subsidiary.
